The Birmingham Customer Service Center is located at 2205 Holland Street, Birmingham, MI 48009. We are located at the end of Holland on the east side of Eton Street.

We have 238 runs on 49 buses for regular education students in grades kindergarten through 12. More than 500 non-public students are transported to 13 different facilities. We travel around 795,800 miles annually and perform approximately 11,370 bus rides per day.

Additionally, we have 11 special education bus routes for approximately 125 students. These students attend 14 in-district buildings, and 12 out-of-district buildings for specific programs. These busses travel more than 225,000 miles annually. We are also working with our neighboring school districts by participating in the southeast quadrant of Oakland County for a regional transportation program. We provide transportation for Pontiac, West Bloomfield, Bloomfield, and Berkley School District special needs students who attend the same out-of-district schools as Birmingham students do. Just as in previous years we have efficient shuttle service between Seaholm and Groves High Schools to accommodate the instructional needs of our students in smaller classes.

There are 67 bus drivers and 3 paraprofessionals who work with our students every day. Our office staff is comprised of: Dispatch Supervisor, a Customer Service Center Dispatcher, Safety Training Supervisor, an Administrative Assistant, an office assistant as well as our General Manager. Our offices are open from 5:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

We employ 2 mechanics, a white fleet maintenance person and a Maintenance Supervisor. Durham School Services has a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to keep our 75 school busses in optimum operating condition. Every year our fleet is inspected by the Michigan State Police. For the past 15 years Birmingham Public School Busses have received a rating of "excellent".

Bus drivers are required to perform a "pre-trip check list" similar to a pilot performing a pre-flight inspection. This is to ensure that the bus is 100% safe before it leaves the Customer Service Center.

At Durham School Services, our number one priority is the safety and security of the students we transport. We work tirelessly to ensure the peace of mind of those who have entrusted their children to us. Safety, above all, is the cornerstone on which we build upon! We are dedicated to ensuring children arrive to school safely, and on time so they can make the most of their school day....every day.
